Motorola Mobility, a Google company, is expected to release the Moto X by October ? the first handset made in the United States, and also, it is the first ?customizable? smartphone ? though Google or Motorola has nothing to share on the customization works.
Apparently, Google and Motorola are building the buzz ahead of the phone?s release date ? and yes, it is very effective, almost all top publications started to run news about the Moto X Phone especially after Google published the full-page patriotic advertisement on top newspapers in America.
Rumor has it that Motorola?s Google X Phone will get an August release date, a month ahead of the rumored iPhone 5 launch date in September. Of course, releasing the phone ahead of rivals might convince some customers to give it a try, though it is still too early predict if Google will start shipping the handsets next month, or will just unveil the device.
Smartphone pundits are also suggesting that Google will take advantage of the Play Store to sell more Moto X Phones, especially in the United States.
