Rendering of the new hotel at the Comanche Red River Casino. The Comanche Nation of Oklahoma broke ground on an 87-room hotel at the Comanche Red River Casino on Friday. Construction is expected to take nine to 10 months. The project's reported cost is $12 million. "It's been a long time coming," Chairman Wallace Coffey said at the groundbreaking, The Lawton Constitution reported. "Today is the beginning of a long career for our Comanche people. Give us nine to 10 months and we'll have a good hotel out here."
