BEIJING, Dec. 8 (Xinhuanet) -- Premier Wen Jiabao has returned in Beijing after the 17th regular meeting between Chinese and Russian leaders.
During the meeting, Wen met with his Russian counterpart, Dmitry Medvedev in Moscow. The two agreed to increase trade and high-tech cooperation. They will also aim to develop more infrastructure and energy projects.
China and Russia signed a number of agreements to promote local, regional and inter-state coordination. The Chinese Premier also met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Sochi. During their talks, Wen said the two countries have worked together on big regional and international issues.
Putin added that the partnership contributed to world order, balance and stability. He also called on the two sides to maintain close high-level exchanges and push bilateral ties to a higher level.
