Detox Your Body ? But Before You Do, Take The Test! | Detox | Start ...

Detoxing is a word that we hear much about in the media, in the magazines, and on the net. Why are so many talking about detoxing and why are so many people still complaining about health issues? The fact is many people are unaware that there are many forms of detoxification. Some programs work and others do not. The reason for this is because people do not know what program to follow or they just listen to people that are not professionals in this category. Detoxing is serious and you could get hurt if you don?t do it right. I advise you to seek the right professional if you decide to go on a program. You may just need a mild cleanse while someone else may need a more aggressive cleanse. You may not know what cleanse you need and you might actually go for one that is not suited for your needs.

Why do we need to detox?

It?s to remove toxins from our body?s that can have accumulated over time. It?s also a great way to keep your system running optimally?

What is toxin?

It is a substance that causes harmful effects in the body!

Where do toxins come from?

The air we breathe

Radiation

Refined Foods

Polluted Water

Negative Emotions

High sugar diets

Fumes; cleaner supplies, Paints, etc.

Alcohol, Tobacco

Rising stress levels

Overworking

If you take in more toxins than you can eliminate you will reach a state of toxicity. Some states are worse than others.

What may be some signs of over toxicity?

Acne

Lack of energy (Chronic Fatigue Syndrome)

Headaches

Fungal infections

Joint pain

Gas

Bloating

Waking up not feeling rested after an average 7-9 hours of sleep

Overall the right detoxification program can help you feel better. It can improve your skin, your overall health, you?ll be able to have a more restful sleep, your mood will improve along with your hormones, and your body?s metabolism becomes more active which means you burn more fat just to name a few.

Here is a simple test to see if you are toxic;

Answer the questions as truthful as possible; Score 1 point for every ?YES?, 0 for every ?NO? Keep your score so you can measure your progress if you decide to choose to go on a program. My suggestion is to talk to a professional that deals with detox programs as their primary business. Don?t just show up in a health food store and ask someone what to take. Although there are many educated people that work at health food stores most are not equipped to give the right advice.

Detox Test;

Do you drink more than 1 cup of coffee or pop?

Do you feel rested after you slept the average 7-9 hours?

Do you have acne, or skin problems?

Do you feel bloated after a meal?

Do you drink alcohol almost daily?

Do you smoke or are around smokers?

Do you live or work in the city?

Do you rarely eat fresh fruits and veggies?

Do you eat red meat more than 2 times a week?

Do you eat fried food and junk foods?

Do you get allergies?

Do you suffer from constant colds?

Do you have mood swings?

Do you crave candy or sugary snacks?

Do you skip meals, especially breakfast?

Do you put weight on easy?

Do you find it difficult to concentrate?

Are you constipated or have less than one bowel movement a day?

Do you joints or muscles ache?

Do you fell tired most of the time?

Do you suffer from fungal infections?

Save your score so you may reference back to it if you decide to go on a detox plan;

If you scored 5 points or less you?re in pretty good shape. If you scored more than 5 points and up than you may want to seek the advice of a professional who can assist you on your detox program. The higher your score the more toxic you are. Note; it is wise not to try a program on your own because you may experience some side effects when detoxing. Seek the advice of a professional.
